Life is constantly changing. The past four years have been a roller coaster ride, sometimes scary and at other times exhilarating. I have finally reached that point in my life where I am evaluating the activities in my life and trying to eliminate the ones that are not productive.
On October 1st, I became Mrs. Alex Sanchez. I married a sweet man that is allowing me to be myself and loves all my gifts and talents. My children are grown and I am almost an empty nest-er. I am enjoying watching my grown children make their way in the world and I am eagerly awaiting my first grandchild! In September, I left a job that I was really enjoying and felt like I was making a difference, but it wasn't getting me any closer to my dream. What is my dream anyway? I'm working on getting it down on paper.
What on earth am I doing? I am a teacher. I love to impart knowledge and watch other people grow and spread their wings. I don't care what age. Pre-school children to the elderly, we are always learning, growing, changing. At least I hope we are. My good friend and confidante told me that I am a well-spring of knowledge that can do anything and that I should start teaching people what I know. That is the beginning of what I'm doing. It's the diving board for Flourish Creative Studios. I'm working on flourishing and I want to help others do the same.
